They rather lack for personality as well – they are created with a preordained function, and rarely ever act beyond that function. As depicted in the lore, they actually present quite a few obstacles when trying to fit them into the existing structure of the game – they are removed from the Old World, living on an entirely different landmass, and are not an expansionist power, instead acting on the visions of the Slann mage-priests that lead them. So having tackled the idea of the Skaven in the previous Future Factions post, I figured it was apt to take a look at one of the bigger rivals to the ratmen – the Lizardmen of Lustria.
