Please follow these steps to re-enable 'dgnword.dll' for use with Microsoft Word XP and 2003: Please follow the steps outlined in Tech Note 3118: 'Dragon/ViaVoice locks up, freezes or Select-and-Say fails in Microsoft Office applications' to disable the Microsoft Office speech recognition software. If it is not disabled, then it will continue to disable Dragon NaturallySpeaking's Word add-in 'dgnword.dll'. Note: If Microsoft Office XP or 2003 is installed then the built in speech recognition must first be disabled (Windows XP only). We recommend enabling the Dragon NaturallySpeaking add-in ('dgnword.dll') in Microsoft Word. These issues may be related to the Microsoft Office built-in speech recognition software or the Dragon NaturallySpeaking add-in may be disabled.
